Posting a request is two photos and a sentence. Matched with a runner in minutes. Paid in escrow, released at the courier handover. The community trust-score does the talking that a WhatsApp group used to.

Trust earns a track record
On Gijimela, a runner’s last 50 jobs, dispute rate and payout history are visible — so the requester who can’t meet in person still sees who they’re trusting.

Escrow, not vibes
Funds release the instant the courier scans the parcel. Until then, neither side can withdraw — and proof of dispatch is on the record.

The hand-shake model already worked because communities knew who was reliable. Gijimela carries that reputation online, adds an audit trail to it, and pays out the way a back-room payout never could — same-day, into the right account, with the paperwork tax authorities expect.

Each runner carries a visible history: completed jobs, dispute rate, payout time. The score updates nightly from real event logs — never self-reported.
Escrow that won’t leak
Locked at bid acceptance. The first person to touch the ledger is the courier on scan — there is no side door to release funds early, including for our own staff.
Dispute resolution by the people who actually use it
A standing panel of senior runners adjudicates claims. Decisions are written into the public ledger, so the network learns what good evidence looks like.
